from the Ground Up
NDLON builds immigrant power locally, from the bottom up, at day labor corners, in neighborhoods and on the streets. Our legal, advocacy and educational work supports and strengthens grassroots organizing. Our music and art channels immigrant creativity and courage.#AltoArizona, #Not1More, #ICEoutofCA and #TPS Justice are some of the many vibrant examples of NDLON homegrown pursuit of justice.

Immigrant workers in Los Angeles and across Southern California are facing ICE raids, armored vehicles, and masked agents. This is happening now—and it’s a warning for communities across the country.
We need more than witnesses. We need action. If you are not at risk of deportation, we urge you to step up: show up, nonviolently, with courage, love, and urgency. Let our love be stronger than their hate. Let our unity be louder than their fear.

Go to your local Home Depot or other day labor gathering spot. Choose a location you can commit to regularly. Be present, consistent, and build relationships. Offer protection and solidarity.

\We are calling on all allies and people of conscience to Adopt a Day Labor Corner in your local community. What we’re witnessing in Los Angeles and Chicago—ICE raids, armored vehicles, and masked agents—may feel like a distant issue but for immigrant workers, for day laborers, for our neighbors, it is already here. And Los Angeles is a testing ground for what will come soon across the country after the massive increase in ICE funding. This moment demands more than watching. It demands that we show up for one another—in person, nonviolently, with courage, with love, and with urgency. If you are not at risk of deportation, we are asking you to consider taking action today.
Here’s what we are asking:
- Go to your local Home Depot or local hiring spot, where immigrant day laborers are at extreme risk of harassment and arrest.
- Choose a location convenient to you, where day laborers gather and commit to showing up regularly.
- Be present. Be consistent. Build relationships and offer protection.
Let our love be stronger than their hate. Let our unity be louder than their fear. Let our actions reflect who we really are.

NDLON helps communities and neighborhoods build networks of mutual aid to resist anti-immigrant laws, unjust policing and racist attacks. Using popular education methods, we help immigrants organize self-defense committees to assert their rights and protect themselves.

Members convene through Asamblea Popular gatherings to exercise decision-making authority.
Cultural Pride and Connection
We share identity, and promote a culture of courage and mutual support.
We envision forming 500 committees over the next decade, cultivating a new generation of leaders who learn from experienced organizers and from their own communities.
NDLON is leading a national campaign to end unjust raids and surveillance of workplaces, courthouses and neighborhoods. As ICE continues to terrorize immigrant workers and separate families, we are fighting back with rapid-response teams, Know Your Rights education and grassroots organizing.

NDLON engages in transnational coalitions and campaigns that link workers and migrants across borders in pursuit of labor dignity, justice, and rights-based migration.

A coalition strategy offering policy and organizing coordination across migration corridors.
Founded in 2020 by NDLON, we are a transnational network defending the rights of migrant workers at every stage of their journey—origin, transit, and destination. Our mission is to reimagine labor migration through justice, dignity, and grassroots power.

Macehualli Campaign
Dignity and Justice for Elderly Mexican Migrants in the U.S.
For decades, Mexican immigrants have strengthened the U.S. economy through hard, honest work—often while facing discrimination and exploitation. Now, many are growing old without legal status, social protections, or financial security.
The Macehualli Campaign, supported by NDLON, calls for long-overdue recognition and action: we urge the Mexican government to include elderly Mexican migrants in the U.S. in the Pensión Bienestar and deliver the justice they deserve.

TPS Justice
The National TPS Alliance is a grassroots immigrant rights organization, advocating for permanent residency and equal rights for beneficiaries of Temporary Protected Status (TPS)
